Performers of the Mesilla Valley is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing free folklórico, Aztec, music, cheer/poms, and cultural arts programs for youth and families in Las Cruces. Our mission is to preserve cultural heritage, promote wellness, and strengthen protective factors that help children grow confident, connected, and safe.
Since 2019, we have served more than 500 children and teens through year-round, accessible programming rooted in culture, community, and prevention.

⭐ PREVENTION FOCUS
Performers of the Mesilla Valley integrates prevention into everything we do.
Through the arts, we build the protective factors that keep youth safe:
✔ Belonging
✔ Cultural identity
✔ Positive peer groups
✔ Mentorship
✔ Routine & structure
✔ Emotional wellness
Our programs reduce risks linked to substance use, isolation, boredom, and lack of supervision. We also collaborate with schools and behavioral-health organizations to connect families with education, resources, and community support.
